A System Specially Designed for Remote Houses with all the Comfort you won't miss

This system can be installed where ever a very comfortable power supply is desired. The current will come mostly from sources as photovoltaics, small wind or hydro turbines and then stored in the system battery. The battery will be protected by means of a charge controller.

The system 6024gpi supplies 230V AC and cares for an appropriate battery capacity even then, when the main sources are not sufficient.

Main features of the system are:

  • Complete unit comprising sine wave inverter, battery charger and gas powered genset
  • 24V-System, continuous output power 6 kW, battery charger 2kW
  • Connections between inverter, start system and genset prewired. As a setup, just connect the batteries and gas bottle or tank
  • Genset with Vanguard motor, induction generator 3000 VA, propane/butane as a fuel
  • Gas duct with magnetic valve, non adjustable vaporizer, and special carbureter (this avoids common problems with propane kits)
  • Engine start by means of the generator with up to 40 Hz, thus very reliably starting, mainly when it is cold
  • Threephase output for pump systems or other three phase motors up to 2.2 kW.
  • Many parameters adjustable, as start/stop-parameters, controllable outputs, etc.
  • Extensive monitoring possible, historic data included (data logging)
  • Simple remote control via telephone (for instance by the producer or installer in case of problems)

The unit is inserted into a support, that can be fixed on a wall or directly on the inverter cover.

The cable connects the control unit either directly to the inverter or, as shown here, via a long range Bluetooth module.

Description control unit

A PDA or Organizer (Handheld) with a screen resolution of 320 x 320 pixel allows the control of the system and the visualization of all relevant system values.

The control unit is part of the system, it is included in the basic price.

The inverter works independently of this control unit. All selected parameters are being stored in the inverter's internal memory.

There are several possibilities to connect the control unit to the system:

  • Either the short standard cable is being used
  • When a real remote control is desired, cables of more then 20m length are available
  • Alternatively a Bluetooth connection can be established. As an option we offer a pair of Bluetooth modules with a very long range.
  • You can connect to your system also via modems. The only thing that is needed is a modem on the inverter side. On the side of the control unit a standard cell phone with an IrDA port can be used.

Control Unit and Connectors on the Inverter

Left on top there is the on/off button for inverter and genset.

Next to it two status LEDs.

The black telephone jack beside them is to supply a GSM modem with current.

The smaller jack next right provides a remote control for the three phase output.

Below the on/off button there is the knob to control the search mode.

Further below there is a Bluetooth module connected, it corresponds to the module of the control unit in the picture above. Alternatively a GSM modem can be connected here.

The vertical connector more left serves for a direct connection of the control unit via cable.

The big connector directly below the Bluetooth module is the 12 pole connection to the genset.

The big black cables on the bottom are the battery cables.
