Power System microtherm 6024gpi  System Schematics    The power system microtherm 6024gpi connects the inverter and the genset in parallel. When the batteries are empty or the output power of the inverter is low, the genset is started and synchronised with the inverter's output. As the inverter provides a very stable output voltage and frequency, whereas the genset is much weaker, the genset follows the inverter. This principle provides several advantages: There is no interruption during the transition to or from the parallel operation No voltage or frequency dip occurs when large loads are connected to the genset. Working in parallel, the combined output power ratings of inverter and genset are utilisable. In different systems, the maximum output is either the output power of the genset or the output of the inverter the genset runs always with its maximum efficiency, current, that is actually not needed, serves to charge the batteries.
